A Three-Month Personalized Teaching Development Program
APEX
Momentum
Momentum happens when experience becomes intentional.
You have finished your 200-hour.
You are teaching. You are gaining experience. You are growing. And you're not sure if the next step is another certification or a 300-hour.
It is development.
Most teachers get the repetition. Very few get the reflection. And without reflection, experience alone does not produce the momentum you are looking for.
Momentum happens when experience becomes intentional. When someone with trained eyes is in your room telling you exactly what they see. When the feedback is specific enough to act on. When the coaching is personal enough to actually change something.
That is what APEX Momentum is.
Something is pulling at you.
You love teaching. You want to keep getting better at it, and still, something feels like it wants to move.
Maybe you are not sure exactly what that looks like yet. Maybe you have a sense of the direction but not the path. Maybe you want more from your teaching career but you are not sure what more means or how to get there.
That is exactly where APEX Momentum begins. Together we figure out what you are building toward, what is in the way, and what three months of direct, personalized development can do to get you there.
Here is why that pull is worth following.
The Momentum Cycle
Most teachers have two of the five elements that produce genuine expertise.
They have experience. They have repetition. What they are missing is what makes those two things compound into something more.
Teach
Gain experience in real classes with real students.
Observe
Receive informed observation from an experienced educator who knows exactly what to look for.
Reflect
Understand what is working, what is changing, and what you are developing.
Refine
Make intentional adjustments that improve your effectiveness in the room.
Repeat
Build expertise through deliberate practice with a clear focus.
That cycle is what APEX Momentum creates across three months. Not more content. Not more techniques. A deliberate development arc that turns your existing experience into genuine expertise.
What becomes possible
You teach with more precision and more intention.
Not because you memorized better cues, but because you understand what your teaching is actually doing, and you can adjust in real time.
You see your room differently.
You stop guessing about what is happening and start reading what is actually there.
You feel the momentum you have been missing.
Not the frantic energy of trying harder. The quiet confidence of knowing exactly what you are developing and why.
And if you decide the APEX 300-hour is the right next step, you arrive in October already developing. Already oriented to the framework. Already part of the community.
The Arc
Three months. Three distinct movements. One continuous line of development.
Month One
Principles
We establish the foundation. You teach two of your classes. I attend, observe, and give you specific informed feedback after each one, not general encouragement, but precise observation of what your teaching is actually doing and what your class is actually receiving.
After our feedback session you will know exactly what you are working with, what needs attention, and what to focus on for the next month. If you are not local, we make Zoom arrangements.
Month Two
Application
You implement, and then I observe again. We can both see what shifted and what is still showing up. The coaching session goes deeper because the foundation is established.
You are not starting over. You are building on what month one revealed.
Month Three
Possibility
The final two classes. The final coaching session. You talk about where you arrived, what changed, and what becomes possible from here.
You leave with a clear picture of your own development and a sense of what the next chapter looks like.
What is included
Six class observations across three months.
Two per month. Melissa attends your actual classes with your actual students, in person if you are in the Philadelphia area, live on Zoom if you are not. You pay for the classes as you normally would. What you are investing in is the informed observation and specific feedback that follows each one.
Three one-on-one coaching sessions with Melissa.
One per month. Sixty minutes each. Grounded in what was observed across the two classes that month.
Three months of full APEX Community membership.
Every live call, every monthly workshop, Community Q&A calls, every Field Notes post, the full resource library. CEU eligible through Yoga Alliance.
Time spent will count toward Yoga Alliance CEUs.
Full investment applies as a credit toward APEX 300-hour tuition if you enroll before October 1, 2026.
Who this is for
The teacher who feels the pull toward something different in their teaching.
Who loves this work and wants to keep growing. Who wants a boost in their teaching, a fresh perspective on what they are doing, and a trusted, experienced voice in their corner for three months.
Who is excited about what comes next, even if they are not sure exactly what that is yet.
Together we figure out what you are building toward, and what three months of direct development can do to get you there.
This is not a course.
It is not more content to consume. It is not a certification that adds letters to your bio without changing how you teach.
It is three months of direct, personalized teaching development with someone who will be in your room watching you teach and telling you exactly what they see.
Melissa Leach brings 20 years of yoga education, master-level facilitation, leadership coaching, and health coaching to every observation and every session. She is not just watching your sequencing. She is watching your presence, your cueing precision, and the gap between what you intend and what your practitioners actually receive.
That combination of perspectives in one person watching you teach is something most teachers never experience in an entire career.
About Melissa

Ready to apply?
The goal isn't exclusivity.
It's depth.
This experience is highly personalized and designed around direct observation, reflection, and development. If you're interested, send a note sharing:
Where you are in your teaching journey
What you're currently working on
What you hope to develop over the next three months
If you're already teaching public classes, observations can take place in your regular teaching environment. If you're not currently teaching at a studio, you can teach directly to me during scheduled observation sessions so the development process remains the same.
We'll have a conversation to make sure this is the right fit for you. The goal isn't to determine whether you're qualified, it's to determine whether Momentum is the right next step for your development.
One more thing
If you decide the 300-hour is for you at the end of the three months, the money you invested in this applies to your 300-hour tuition.
And if the 300-hour isn't the right fit, you leave a significantly better teacher than when you arrived.
Nothing about this investment is wasted.
So tell me where you are. Let's figure out the rest together.
