A grounded, clinical-minded approach to human performance.

I specialize in helping high-performing individuals rebuild energy, regulate their nervous systems, and strengthen their bodies through a blend of clinical nutrition, functional medicine principles, trauma-informed movement, and advanced strength science.

Melissa Leach, M.S. is an integrative health practitioner and performance coach specializing in nervous system regulation, metabolic resilience, and trauma-informed strength. She blends clinical nutrition, functional medicine principles, advanced movement science, and stress physiology to help high performers, executives, and complex clients rebuild energy, restore stability, and create sustainable strength from the inside out.

With a Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition, Melissa has completed advanced training through the School of Applied Functional Medicine, with specialized education in chronic stress physiology, neuroendocrine balance, inflammation, gut–brain connection, and root-cause assessment.

Her movement and somatic background includes over 3,000 hours of advanced anatomy, biomechanics, injury prevention, trauma-informed practices, and mindful movement education. She holds extensive training in applied biomechanics and strength science, focusing on joint mechanics, load progression, injury prevention, and nervous-system-aware strength development. Her applied performance nutrition training integrates metabolic physiology, stress response, neurobiology, and the bio-psycho-social model to support cellular energy and recovery.

Melissa is also a Holistic Health Practitioner trained through the CHEK Institute, with advanced education in stress physiology, emotional patterning, corrective movement, and the integration of mind–body systems—deepening her ability to support clients navigating long-standing patterns of dysregulation or chronic stress.

A 500-Hour E-RYT, YACEP educator, Tier 3 (1200-hour) Baptiste Influencer, and multi-certified trauma-informed yoga specialist, Melissa has taught and mentored yoga teachers and students globally—including work with the Africa Yoga Project and international teacher training programs. Her trauma-focused initiatives include creating specialized practices for veterans, first responders, and youth.

Before establishing her private practice, Melissa served as Foundation Director for the Baptiste Foundation, overseeing a $6M national operation, leading 120 facilitators, and designing trauma-informed community wellness programs that integrated yoga, mindfulness, and resilience training.

Today, Melissa works with high-performing individuals, leaders, and clients navigating burnout, dysregulation, hormonal shifts, or complex health histories. Her signature methodology—The Stronger System™—merges clinical nutrition, functional medicine insights, nervous system science, trauma-informed movement, and performance-based strength training to rebuild health and resilience from the inside out.
